Holographic technology was invented by British scientist Dennis Gabor in 1948. It is a brand-new virtual imaging technology that uses the principle of interference and diffraction to record and reproduce the true three-dimensional image of an object. The technology is divided into two kinds in the application scheme: The first one is to project the holographic projection film on one side.


The second is the 360-degree holographic projection technology. The three-dimensional image is suspended in the midair of the real image to create a magic atmosphere. The effect is peculiar, with a strong sense of depth, and it is difficult to distinguish between true and false; the audience can be from 360 degrees. From different angles of viewing images on different sides, you can also add touch screens to interact with the audience.

Here we analyze the holographic technique in detail from the hologram recording and reduction. The first step is to use the principle of interference to record the light wave information of the object. This is the shooting process: the object forms a diffuse object beam under laser irradiation.

Another part of the laser beam strikes the holographic negative film as a reference beam, and the superposition beam interferes with the object beam, transforming the collisional entanglement of the points on the object's light waves into spatially varying intensities, thereby utilizing the contrast and spacing between the interference fringes to transmit the object light waves. All information is recorded. The film that has recorded the interference fringe undergoes a developing, fixing, and other processing procedure and becomes a hologram.

The second step is to use the principle of diffraction to reproduce the object's light wave information, which is the imaging process. A hologram is like a complicated grating. Under the illumination of a coherent laser, the diffraction light of a linearly recorded sine-type hologram generally gives two images, the original image (virtual image) and the conjugate image (real image). The reproduced image has a strong stereoscopic effect and has a real visual effect.
